2、能够用What does he/she do?询问某人的职业,并能做出相应回答。
3、能用英文表达自己的理想。
一、教学重点:
1、学习Let’s learn部分的单词:singer, writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist,
2、运用What does he/she do? 做简单地问答。
3、用I’m going to be a/an …. 和I want to be a/an ….表达自己的理想。
二、教学难点:
1、正确区分运用冠词an和a。
2、表示职业的单词与动词原形之间的关系。
三、课前准备:
1、Let’s learn部分的图片和单词卡。
2、Jack’s family图片和Let’s learn部分的教学课件。
3、四年级上册第六单元Let’s do部分的歌谣录音带。
四、教学过程:
1、Warm up ( 热身)
活动一:说说唱唱
教学参考时间:2分钟
(1)教师播放四年级上册P79页Let’s sing部分歌曲《My father is a doctor》,学生一起跟唱。
(2)听录音,做动作。教师播放四年级上册Unit 6第73页Let’s do部分的歌谣:Act like a teacher/doctor/nurse/farmer/driver/baseball player.

活动二:阅读理解
教学参考时间:4分钟
(1)阅读短文:
Jack’s family
Hello! I’m Jack. Look! This is my family. My father is tall. He’s a doctor. He likes sports. My mother is thin. She likes music. She’s a nurse. Sam is my brother. He’s strong. He can play baseball very well. He is a baseball player. The old man is my grandfather. He is a farmer. He likes painting. I am a student now, but I’m going to be a teacher.
I have a happy family. I love it very much.
(2)回答问题Answer the questions:
²What’s Jack’s father? What is he like? What does he like?
²Is his mother a doctor? Is she thin? Does she like sports?
²Who is Jack’s brother? What’s he?

活动三:学单词
教学参考时间:15分钟
(1)教师指着自己说:I teach lessons. I’m a teacher. 接着教师依次向学生出示几张教师的照片,问学生:What does she/he do? 引导学生回答;She/He is a teacher. 教师进一步询问:What lessons does she/he teach? 复习单词:art, P.E. music, Chinese, math, English.
(2)教师分别出示作家和画家的图片,问学生:Is he a teacher?当学生做出否定回答后,教师追问:What does he do?当学生做出肯定回答后,教师说I don’t think so.并引导学生说出He’s a writer. He’s a artist. 在学生对单词不理解时,教师可用英文作解释。
Writer: He or she likes to write. eg. story, article …;artist: He or she can draw or sculpt (雕刻)good and beautiful pictures, such as a painter or sculptor,.
(3)教师出示一歌星唱歌的片断。让学生回答:What does she/he do?引导学生回答:She/He is a singer. 启发学生说出更多歌手的名字。再让学生观看一电视台记者采访的片断,问学生:Is he/she a singer? 导入单词:TV reporter.
(4)教师播放课件,让学生观看一电影片段。教师分别指着男、女演员说:He’s an actor. She’s an actress. 然后教师出示成龙和张柏芝或张曼玉和梁朝伟的图片,问:Who’s she/he? What does she /he do? 引导学生回答:That’s … She’s/He’s …. 教师提示学生在actor和actress前面要用an.还可以让学生说出更多他们熟知的男女演员的姓名。(Can you speak out some names of actors or actresses’?)
(5)认读巩固:教师出示单词卡片:singer, writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist, 学生认读。
(6)教师播放Let’s learn部分录音,学生看书跟读单词和句子。
活动四:猜猜我是谁
教学参考时间:2分钟
(1)教师让学生做Let’s start/A部分的填空练习。
(2)完成后核对答案。教师板书:teach, teacher, clean, cleaner, sing, singer, dance, dancer, drive, driver, write, writer
(3)让学生观察每两个词之间的区别。提示学生dancer, driver, writer三个词是直接在原动词后面加r。
活动五:对话练习
教学参考时间:2分钟
(1)教师准备一些纸条,上面写有各种职业的名称。让一个学生抽取纸条,并依据纸条上所写的名称来叙述该职业特点。
(2)教师问:What does she/he do? 让另一个学生来回答:She’s/He’s ….
(3)教师根据答案判断:Yes, that’s right. I’m sorry, you’re wrong. 如果回答错误,需再找他人回答,直到猜对才可换人继续做此游戏。
(4)三人一组继续此活动。
4、Let’s play ( 趣味操练 )
活动六:拼词竞赛
教学参考时间:3分钟
(1)将全班分成两组,教师发给每个学生一张字母卡片,不常用的字母(如Q,Z)可以一人多拿几张。
(2)游戏开始,教师说一个单词,如teacher,或出示一张教师的图片,两个组持t, e, c, h, e, r字母的学生应立即站到讲台前按顺序站好队,先按正确次序排好队的为优胜。
活动七:调查报告
教学参考时间:5分钟
(1)教师:I’m a teacher , but you are students now. What are you going to be? Are you going to be a driver? 引导学生说出:I’m going to be a/an ….
(2)教师问:What is he/she going to be? 让另一学生回答:He/She is going to be ….
(3)进行采访活动:What are you going to be?

活动八:练一练
教学参考时间:5分钟
(1)活动手册P41/Lisen and tick. 先让学生看图说一说:She’s/He’s …. 然后听录音选择每组中与所听内容相符的一幅图。
(2)活动手册P41/Listenagain and write. 再听一遍录音,完成填空。
(3)核对两题的答案。
活动九:小结
教学参考时间:1-2分钟
(1)教师让学生看板书回顾本课所学与职业相关的新单词是什么:
singer, writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist
(2)教师提问:询问某人的职业有几种方式?分别是什么?学生回答。
