一、教学目标与要求

1、能够听、说、读、写“Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds．”能替换运用于水循环的整个过程。

2、能够完成Task time。

二、教学重、难点分析

1、本课时需要重点掌握句型：Where does the rain come from? It comes from the   clouds．要求学生能替换关键词造新句并能在水循环的整个过程自如运用。

2、本课时的难点是Let's talk部分，内容多，词汇量大。

三、课前准备

1、教师准备课件：Let's try部分的挂图；水循环等。

2、教师准备A Let's learn的单词卡片。

四、教学步骤和建议

一）  热身(Warm-up)                             

(1)教师放歌曲“Little Water Drop”的录音，学生跟唱。

(2)日常口语练习。以下内容供参考：

Where do you come from?  I come from …

出示课件：Today I have many photos.Can you know who are they?

Who’s she/he ? Where does．．．come from? He/She comes from …

（向学生展示一些名人的照片，利用第二个句型询问名人的家乡。）

二）预习(Preview)

Let's try

(1)问：“What do you have for breakfast?'’.“I usually    have bread and milk for breakfast．Do you like bread? Where does bread come from?”然后出示课件（本部分的挂图），手指面粉和小表的图，让学生猜一猜：

 “What's this?”然后放Let's try部分的录音

(2)完成标号练习后，教师可以指着本部分的三幅图问：“Where does bread/flour    come from?”引导学生回答：“It comes from…”

三）新课呈现(Presentation)

Let’s talk

(1)播放雨声：what’s that?(rain) Where does the rain come from? (出示课件)。

(2)引导学生回答：“It comes from the clouds．”

(3) 板书问答句Where does…come from? It comes from…，带读后继续提问：“Where does …come from?”引导学生回答。

利用课间组成一个水循环过程的简易图，演示水循环的过程。

(4)同桌之间根据单词卡片的提示进行问答练习。

(5)“你问我答”游戏

学生分成两大组，站成两列。两列学生轮流针对水循环的过程提问，如：Where does the vapour come from?It comes from the water．答上来可以得到一分，最后得分高的小组获胜。

(6)教师放本部分的录音，学生跟读。

(7)教师指导学生写出水循环的过程，看谁写得又快Y．AE确。

Group work

学生分小组对水循环的过程进行问答练习，然后教师请每个小组选一名代表上台,叙述水循环的简单过程。

四）巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)

1、“快速反应”游戏

全班分四大组，各组分别命名为：water，vapour，cloud，rain。教师提问：“Where does the cloud come from?”vapour小组的成员应迅速起立并回答：“It come from the vapour．”

2、翻卡片，说句子（课件出示）

把sun，stream，fiver，water，vapour，cloud，rain等图片在学生认读后，重新组合编号，请两个学生随意选择其中的两 张，然后把这两个单词作为水循环过程的起始点和结束点进行问答。如选择的是water和vapour，学生就可以说：“Where does the valour come from? It comes from the water in the river．”或者"How can the water become vapour? The sun shines and the water becomes vapour．”如果选择的是water和rain两张卡片，那么就要根据水循环的整个过程进行问答。

3、Task time（可调节）

让学生参照课本说一说，做一做，制作一本精美的图画书送给教师、家长或朋友。做表述时可参考语言：Today I'll tell you the story of rain．Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds．The cloud comes from the vapour．And the vapour comes from the water．The sun shines，the water becomes hot and then becomes the vapour．
